Shoebox Gifts Help Those Less Fortunate

In conjunction with the Samaritans, Pilgrim Academy pupils have been helping to change children's lives by providing a simple gift for Christmas. The pupils packed 28 shoeboxes with gifts and sent them to Eastern European countries and to Africa. The boxes have been filled with fun and surprises to ensure those less fortunate than themselves are able to experience joy at Christmas. Pictured is Year 6 pupil Isabella Howard with the tower of shoeboxes ready to go.
