Pilgrim Academy Year 5 and 6 pupils made some outstanding exhibits for their recent project studying the First World War.

Nine-year-old Harvey Marshall made a model of Lord Kitchener's Your Country Needs You 1914 advertisement. He said: "I made it out of papier mache and it took me two days. I enjoyed making it and learning about the war."

The work of all of the children will go on show to their parents and relatives at an exhibition next week.
