Productive Weekend Spotting Birds

Reception class pupil Olivia Broadbent gets out her binoculars to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch survey at the weekend.

Pretty much everyone enjoyed tweeting in some way at the weekend as Pilgrim Academy children took part in the Big Garden Birdwatch Survey. Maci Douthwaite (Taurus) said she loved it. She saw 23 Blackbirds, 11 Starlings, 6 Doves, 10 House Sparrows, and 2 Wood Pigeons. Also taking part were Reception class children Cameron Dolby, Ella Wilkinson and Olivia Broadbent.  Such a great project, well done.
