Re: Company Shop Group Voucher Scheme
We have been contacted by the ‘Company Shop Group’ organisation to ask if we would be interested in participating in their initiative to support children who are entitled to free school meals. We have agreed to this and have this afternoon received vouchers issued by the company.
We have been provided with enough vouchers to provide each of our children, who are in receipt of free school meals, with four £10 vouchers. This is per child; therefore, a family that has two children, who are currently in receipt of free school meals, will receive eight £10 vouchers. Please note, this does not apply to those children who receive a universal free school meal in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2. It is only for those parents who have applied for and received confirmation that they are entitled to free school meals.
It is important to note, that the vouchers are only valid until 31 January 2021. I have included the organisation’s Terms and Conditions, which outline participation in the scheme. It is very important that you read these, if you would like to receive the vouchers.

If you would like to receive the vouchers, can you please contact the Academy, either via email, email@example.com or by telephone on 01469 572368. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect, so we can ensure social distancing with other parents. Please note, we are unable to issue the vouchers by post. Please remember that the vouchers are only valid until 31 January 2021, so you will need to leave yourselves enough time to collect the vouchers from Pilgrim Academy. Our final deadline for issuing the vouchers will be 3.00pm on Friday 29 January 2021.
Can I please emphasise that this voucher scheme is not an initiative of Pilgrim Academy or Tollbar Multi-Academy Trust and that the Terms and Conditions are those stated by the Company Shop Group. We have merely agreed to issue parents with the vouchers, as another way of supporting our children who are in receipt of free school meals. Therefore, if you have any questions about the voucher system, following collection of the vouchers, you must contact the company directly and not Pilgrim Academy or Tollbar Multi-Academy Trust.
It is also important to note, that this initiative is completely separate to the voucher scheme we have recently contacted you about which is replacing our weekly hamper system.
