Pupils from Pilgrim Academy in Immingham trained to be medieval knights on a visit to Lincoln Castle. They discovered just how heavy and uncomfortable the armour was to wear and how difficult it was using a lance and firing arrows.
The Year 1 and 2 children then enjoyed a super feast with the King and Queen and were even entertained by performers, who put on a dance especially for them.
Imogen Cook and Ethan Allen try on the armour.
