Artists Go Dutch As They Study Mondrian

The budding Reception Class Mondrians get to work.

Pilgrim Academy pupils embraced the world of abstract art with their week-long study of the 19th century Dutch artist, Piet Mondrian.

Children throughout the school explored his unique style and were inspired to create their own masterpieces in Maths, Computing, English and Art lessons. Their vibrant work forms a display in the Academy's corridors.

Year 1 pupils, Jacob Clark and Gabriel Hoodless show off their work.

Kristian Ninov (Year 3), Zara Marcheva (Year 4). In the background are Owen Cawley and Senyh Vaughan (both Year 6).
