Pupils And Staff Embrace Fictional Characters For World Book Day

There is magic in the air on World Book Day!

At Pilgrim Academy, literacy and the promotion of daily reading remains part of everything we do and celebrating World Book Day is another way of encouraging that. The whole school took part in the event, dressing up as their favourite fictional characters for the day.

“It is fantastic to see so many children and staff dressed up today, which illustrates just how popular these stories are and shows that pupils are familiar with them and enjoy reading about them,” said Pilgrim Academy Principal Andy Clark.
