Wow! Pilgrim Academy pupil Juanita Otu creates the perfect recipe for a champion bubble as part of Science Week.
Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Children at Pilgrim Academy had a fantastic time discovering how to make perfect bubbles during Science Week.
The pupils, from Years 1 and 2, collaborated on the challenge to work out the ingredients needed for the bubbles. They were given a range of resources, including washing up liquid, water, cornflour and other exciting ingredients! Using these they had to experiment and find out the correct combination to make the perfect bubble, answering that all important question - how much washing up liquid is too much?
The children had a fantastic time making their own bubble wands and creating some spectacular bubble displays.
No bubbles yet! Mackenzie-Lee Cooke (left), and Daniel Plaskitt-Stanley make bubble wands.
Pilgrim Academy pupils have fun as they try to catch the bubbles.
